Chris Fenton owns the talent & literary management/production company, H2F Entertainment. Over the last thirteen years, Fenton has established himself as one of the top developers and sellers of written material in Hollywood, having sold the source material for features including ROUNDERS, the AUSTIN POWERS franchise, FOUR CHRISTMASES, WANTED, THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS – TOKYO DRIFT, BANDSLAM, FIRST DAUGHTER, CELLULAR, INVINCIBLE, WAITING, EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH, KNOCKAROUND GUYS, & DUKES OF HAZZARD. Fenton also sold numerous unproduced projects for former clients such as STAN LEE, THE WWE, GEOFF RODKEY, GUILLERMO DEL TORO, TONY HAWK, BILLY FRIEDKIN, & ERIC FOGEL. Some of those deals included seven figure price tags and first dollar gross backends, and he continues to make some of those same massive deals today.
In 2009 alone, Fenton made four of the largest and most high profile sales of the year -- the book franchise rights and feature adaptations for THE FAMILIARS, the packaged spec purchase for DIRTY OLD MEN, the franchise spec bidding war for VATICAN TAPES, and the packaged pitch of KLUTZ (articles attached). He made these sales during one of worst markets for written material in Hollywood history.
Known for a keen eye for talent, Fenton has assembled an impressive list of promising writers, directors, and actors. And with 23 produced screenwriters on his roster, H2F is arguably the strongest boutique management/production company in the Hollywood material market today. Fenton also represents several television showrunners with series currently on the air.
He served as a producer on films such as WAITING, a film starring Ryan Reynolds and Anna Ferris, its sequel, STILL WAITING, WHISPER, a film starring Josh Holloway for Universal/Gold Circle, FOREIGN EXCHANGE, a teen comedy starring Ryan Pinkston, the sequel to THE MARINE for Fox, and the recently completed indie thriller, DURESS. In television, he served as an executive producer on THE WORLD’S STRONGEST MAN COMPETITION for CCTV/ESPN and a producer on the MTV pilot THE RYAN PINKSTON THING, Comedy Central pilot THE PAT KILBANE SHOW, and the E! series REALITY HELL.
In 2010, Fenton will be a producer on film projects such as 47 RONIN (starring Keanu Reeves for Universal), COXBLOCKER (starring Seann William Scott & Topher Grace for Paramount), and the Charles Shyer comedy, BFF, along with a few scripted pilots in the television world.
Prior to H2F he spent two years as a limited partner at MBST Entertainment. He also worked eight years as an agent at the William Morris Agency in the Feature Literary, Feature Talent, and TV Packaging departments.
Fenton originally came to Hollywood as a writer. He wrote the manuscript MY IVY WALLS while attending Cornell University. Though the film rights to the manuscript sold to Fox 2000 in 1998, the book was never published. Fenton has only written one other manuscript, LIFE LESS FIFTEEN, since then.
