Relating to You
Many times participants at workshops and seminars complain that the instructor/speaker leading the event is out-of-touch and/or cannot relate with their audience. I assure you this is not the situation with me. Why?
First, I know what it's like to be a writer, sitting in front of a blank computer screen without a single creative thought coming to mind. I've been there, and I've experienced writers-block. And, at the same time, I also know what it's like to fall into the magical "writers zone". I can remember those fantastic nights when ideas and creative juice flowed effortlessly on to the page and reinvigorated my passion to write.
Remember, I started my career as a writer. I know what it is to be a writer. I can relate to my audience because I AM my audience.
Second, I know what it's like to pour my heart, soul, blood, sweat, and tears into a written work over the course of months/years only to have it rejected. I attached some examples of that heartbreak below.
The bottom line is I understand the plight of writers, and I can help. I look forward to proving it through Own All The Tickets...
